Helmut Eschwey serves as Chairman and Non-Executive Director in a number of private corporations and is a Senior Advisor to private equity funds. He served as CEO of Heraeus Holding GmbH until 2008. Heraeus is one of Germany's largest privately-owned conglomerates with total revenues of over $25 billion, active in precious metals, sensor technology and high tech materials. Between 1975 and 2003, he held senior positions at leading German industrial companies, including Henkel, Pirelli, Freudenberg and the SMS Group. Dr. Eschwey holds a PhD degree in Chemistry from the University of Freiburg im Breisgau. |
