Carlos Castillo is an investment banker with over 20 years of banking
experience in Latin America. He has been a Senior Advisor to Banco
Brascan in Brazil for the origination and execution of corporate
finance
transactions in Brazil and other selected countries in Latin America.
Mr. Castillo has also advised Morgan Stanley in the development
of
capital raising and liability management with the Peruvian Government.
During 1986-1995 Mr. Castillo was a Senior Managing Director at
Bear Stearns responsible for all business in Mexico and other Latin
American countries. Mr. Castillo ran the investment banking
operations of Banco Wiese in Peru during 1997 and 1998.
He holds an engineering degree from the Universidad Nacional de
Ingenieria in Lima, Peru, and an MBA from Wharton at the University
of Pennsylvania.
